under the sun and in the rain…

Muhahaha!

Sorry I haven’t been updating in a while. A lot has happened in camp since my last update. Things like making the second trial for the karate team (we have the final today… pray for me.)

At the moment, we all are sitting under the canopy because of the rain and that’s why I have the time to catch you guys up.

I’ll do my best…

So, where do I begin? Okay, let me start from the recap of the pageants.

On the evening of July 2nd, the camp hosted the Miss Big, Bold and Beautiful pageant and damn, was it an event. These ladies (who slayed by the way) werr giving it to us with their attires (nysc uniform, tradition and dinner wear).

until… the MC started asking questions. Fast forward to 30 mins later, guys started calling them Miss Big, Bold and Brainless 😫.

If I recall correctly, only one contestant answered fairly good. Infact, one was told to spell the instrument used in waking us up and aunty said and I quote, “Do Re Mi” 🙄.

What is that please?

Anyways, last night was the Mr. Macho and Miss NYSC pageant which blew us girls away (because of dem muscles).

That’s how guys were tearing shirt upandan, giving us delicious views of their 6 packs and bulk.

Where have they been since the beginning of camp? 😪

Anyways, some of us have received allowee (I’m not among) and are making noise while the rest are crying in yoruba.

OMG!

During Man 'O' War, my khaki finally showed itself by tearing from front to back as I climbed down a rope obstacle. Funny enough, I wasn’t embarrassed but was laughing at the situation.

My body still aches… Let me go and search for a masseuse.
